Solvation spectra. Part 10.—Electron spin resonance spectrum of monoprotonated durosemiquinone

Abstract

Experimentally determined splitting constants of the electron spin resonance spectrum of monoprotonated durosemiquinone are presented for solutions of this radical in several solvents. The variations of these splitting constants with solvent are in accord with the predictions of valence bond calculations performed for these systems.
