Some studies on optically active α-aminophenylacetic acid and its derivatives, including phenylethylenediamine

Abstract

Maximum rotations are suggested for α-aminophenylacetamide and its toluene-p-sulphonyl derivative on the basis of correlations carried out involving the parent acid and nitrile as well as phenylethylenediamine. Optical rotatory dispersion measurements are reported for several of the compounds employed.
