Borazoles. Part IV. The proton magnetic resonance spectra of some alkyl- and aryl-substituted borazoles

Abstract

The proton magnetic resonance spectra of some tri-N-alkylborazoles, and of some mono-, di-, and tri-B-alkyl- or -phenyltri-N-alkylborazoles have been measured. Chemical shifts are interpreted in terms of the electronic, steric, and ring current effects of adjacent B-substituents.
