The authors regret the omission of the second affiliation of the first author, Daniela Knopp, from the originally published version of the article. The corrected affiliations for the first author are shown above.

The authors also regret an error in the description of the unit of the molar extinction coefficient of pNP in the Methods section. The corrected unit is provided below.

ε = molar extinction coefficient of pNP [l (mmol cm)−1].
