Abstract

Correction for ‘Membrane degassing with the combination of sweep gas and vacuum pressure for ammonia removal’ by Hongsik Yoon et al., Environ. Sci.: Water Res. Technol., 2023, 9, 467–473, https://doi.org/10.1039/D2EW00822J.

Some values presented in the text for the mass transfer coefficient were in error, missing a minus sign before the exponent. All values in Table 1 were correct. The corrected values are shown below.

In the Water impact statement on page 467, the value of 2.03 × 103 m h−1 should read 2.03 × 10−3 m h−1, and the value of 3.95 × 103 m h−1 should read 3.95 × 10−3 m h−1.

In the Results and discussion section on page 470, the value of 2.03 × 103 m h−1 should read 2.03 × 10−3 m h−1; the value of 3.95 × 103 m h−1 should read 3.95 × 10−3 m h−1; the value of 5.75 × 103 m h−1 should read 5.75 × 10−3 m h−1; the value of 3.50 × 103 m h−1 should read 3.50 × 10−3 m h−1; and the value of 2.46 × 103 m h−1 should read 2.46 × 10−3 m h−1.

In the Conclusion section on page 472, the value of 2.03 × 103 m h−1 should read 2.03 × 10−3 m h−1, and the value of 1.18 × 102 m h−1 should read 3.95 × 10−3 m h−1.

The Royal Society of Chemistry apologises for these errors and any consequent inconvenience to authors and readers.
