Fig. 3 Product distributions versus reaction time in the uncatalyzed HMDI-butan-1-ol reaction at 80 °C recorded by ESI-MS. Initial concentrations of HMDI and butan-1-ol are 0.01 M and 0.64 M, respectively. The symbols represent the experimental data, while dotted lines stand for the fitted results by eqn (4)–(6).
