Abstract
Correction for ‘Doping-free bandgap tuning in one-dimensional Magnéli-phase nanorods of Mo4O11’ by Duy Van Pham et al., Nanoscale, 2016, 8, 5559–5566.
The authors have noticed that two incorrect directions of growth are given in the text in reference to Fig. 4a. The sentence beginning “The single 1D…” on page 5561 of the article should instead read as follows:
The single 1D Magnéli-phase Mo4O11 nanorod has a uniform width along its whole length, and the growth direction, indicated by an arrow, may be along the [220] direction for the orthorhombic (α) phase or the [202] direction for the monoclinic (η) phase.
