Abstract

Correction for ‘The Chatt reaction: conventional routes to homoleptic arenemetalates of d-block elements’ by John E. Ellis et al., Dalton Trans., 2019, 48, 9538–9563.

An addition to citations under Notes and references is necessary, as follows:

Page 9561, ref. 169. Although it was stated that there is no evidence for the existence of any homoleptic metallocene dianions, electrogeneration of exceedingly unstable [MCp2]2− for M = Co and Ni, may have been achieved at −80 °C in THF.
