Abstract
Retraction of ‘Utility of plasma: a new road from physics to chemistry’ by Pankaj Attri et al., RSC Adv., 2013, 3, 12540–12567.
We, the named authors, hereby wholly retract this RSC Advances review.
This review is retracted due to reuse of text from other sources, without proper attribution throughout the article, which invalidates the contribution made by this article to the scientific record as a critical review.
In particular, large sections of text have been reused from the sources cited as ref. 6, 8 and 167 in the main article.
This reuse of text is in contravention of the guidelines to authors provided by the Royal Society of Chemistry and the guidelines on ethical publishing practice prescribed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
