Abstract

Coordinatively unsaturated hydrocarbyl complexes bearing β-hydrogen atoms, TpiPrM–CH2CH3 [M = Fe, Co; TpiPr = hydrotris(3,5-diisopropylpyrazolyl)borate], 14e and 15e species, respectively, are prepared; they are resistant to β-hydride elimination.
