Synthesis and X-ray structure of a chiral, arsenic-rich telluride, As10Te32–

Abstract

Oxidation of polyarsenides with elemental Te or reduction of As2Te3 with potassium both yield large arsenic telluride anions, one of which, As10Te32–, has been structurally characterized.
