Low energy photoelectron spectroscopy of solids. Photoelectron spectra of carbonate, phosphate, sulphate, triborate and ethanoate ions

Abstract

The He(I) and He(II) photoelectron spectra of K2Co3, Li2So4, Li3PO4, Na3B3O6 and CH3C(O)ONa have been recorded in the solid state. The spectra are compared with the results of ab initio s.c.f.-m.o. calculations which have been carried out for each anion.
