Catalytic activity of haemin. Influence of dissolution conditions on activity

Abstract

Apparent quantitative discrepancies between catalytic activity data for protohaemin reported in previous investigations have been examined. The effect has been traced to an influence of the conditions of dissolution on the activity of protohaemin solutions. Deuterohaemin shows a similar effect.
