Amide hydrazones from hydrazones and sulphonyl chloride–amide complexes
Abstract
Hydrazones of 5-nitro-2-furaldehyde, 3,5-dibromosalicylaldehyde, and o-hydroxyacetophenone condense with the carbonyl group of NN-disubstituted aliphatic amides in the presence of sulphonyl chlorides to yield amide hydrazones.
