Novel three-dimensional framework based on Ba9 cores involving unprecedented μ533-acetate anions

Abstract

A three-dimensional framework based on a body-centered Ba9 cluster has been assembled, in which the bridging acetate anions show novel μ533-, μ422- and μ322-bridging coordination modes, while the perchlorate anions display an unusual μ4112-coordination mode.
