A borate [C6N2H15]·[B5O6(OH)4] ferroelectric crystal: synthesis, properties and film fabrication

Abstract

A new ferroelectric borate, [C6N2H15]·[B5O6(OH)4] (1), has been synthesized, and a series of thin films of 1 have prepared on different substrates. Thickness of the ferroelectric film can be controlled by the number of coatings, thereby tuning the performance of the film, making it a potential application in wearable devices.
