Fast fingerprint scanning and chemical composition identification of a large-scale material surface by a combined HSI-LIBS operation

Abstract

In this study, we propose an experimental solution that combines hyperspectral imaging (HSI) and laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) applied to mineral surface chemical analysis. This work has great potential for fast fingerprint scanning and chemical component identification of a large material surface.
