Silver-catalyzed vinylcarbene insertion into Si–H bonds with vinyl N-triftosylhydrazones leading to allylsilanes

Abstract

An efficient silver-catalyzed vinylcarbene insertion into the Si–H bonds has been developed using vinyl N-triftosylhydrazones as vinyl carbene precursors. Notably, this mild and operationally simple process exhibited excellent broad substrate scope and good functional group compatibility to deliver allylsilanes in high yields, representing an alternative strategy to the existing strategies.
