Rapid access to sulfate-encapsulated symmetrical and asymmetrical capsules based on silver–pyrazole complex cations

Abstract

Self-assemblies of Ag2SO4 and suitable pyrazolyl derivatives provide a new class of sulfate-encapsulated symmetrical and asymmetrical capsules based on silver–pyrazole complex cations in aqueous media and two-phase systems. Also, an unprecedented sulfate-encapsulated dimeric capsule based on tri-coordinated copper–pyrazole complex cations is realized.
