Magnetic-field-induced growth of silver dendrite-crystalline Liesegang rings

Abstract

The effect of a static magnetic field on the growth of silver dendrite-crystalline Liesegang rings was investigated in a circular geometry. Different geometrical morphologies of LRs were obtained in different fields. The microscopic structure also changed from dendritic in a zero field to flake-like in a finite field.
