Composites of SnO2/layered SnOx compounds and their electrical properties

Abstract

Composite powders comprising SnO2 crystals and novel periodically layered SnOx compounds with a spacing of 9.430 Å were successfully synthesized using a simple wet chemical process. The specific electrical resistance of the prepared composite powder was 7.0 × 101 Ω cm, 100 times lower than that of commercially available SnO2 powder.
