Assembly of a rhomboidally distorted (4,4)-net based polymeric sheet structure bearing copper(ii) 5,10,15,20-tetra(4-pyridyl)porphyrin

Abstract

Self-assembly of 5,10,15,20-tetra(4-pyridyl)porphyrin and trans-[Cu(hfacac)2(H2O)2] (hfacac = 1,1,1,5,5,5-hexafluoroacetylacetonate) including in situ Cu2+ metalation of the porphyrin core afforded a rhomboidally distorted (4,4)-net based polymeric 2D layer structure.
