[Te(CN)4] versus[Te(CN)3(µ-CN)]n

Abstract

Solvent molecules have a great influence on the structure and stability of tellurium tetracyanide; whereas Te(CN)4·(diglyme)2 1a contains monomeric Te(CN)4 units, [Te(CN)3(µ-CN)·diglyme]n1b is a coordination polymer.
