PVP-capped silver nanoparticles as catalysts for polymerization of alkylsilanes to siloxane composite microspheres

Abstract

PVP-capped silver spherical nanoparticles and nanorods serve as active catalysts for the polymerization of alkylsilane C18H37SiH3 with water, to form flower petal-like composite siloxane microspheres.
