Significant contribution of phenyl centroid···I–C(sp2) Coulombic donor–acceptor attractions to the buildup of a crystal structure

Abstract

The X-ray crystallographic analysis of racemate 5 revealed distinct phenyl centroid···I–C(sp2) Coulombic donor–acceptor attractions, which are responsible for the inhibition of a certain mode of polymorphic transition inducing Preferential Enrichment.
