Unusually strong temperature dependence of 13C chemical shifts and degenerate conformational exchange in cyclobutenyl carbocations

Abstract

The unusually strong temperature dependence of 13C chemical shifts is observed in methyl-substituted cyclobutenyl carbocations because of a very low inversion barrier of a four-membered ring.
