Methodology of the multi-matrix GD-OES analysis is discussed, with emphasis on the properties of spectrometers with simultaneous solid-state detectors. General considerations regarding the calibration model are presented, as well as an attempt to use a set of emission lines for a single element to improve accuracy of the analysis.
