Unusual C→N migration of phosphoryl group; synthesis of N′-phosphorylated amidines

Abstract

Synthetically and structurally interesting N′-phosphoryl amidines were obtained by the reaction of lithiated alkyl phosphonates with N,N-dialkylcyanamide via an unprecedented migration of the phosphoryl group.
