Enantioselective epoxidation catalysed by ruthenium complexes with chiral tetradentate bisamide ligands

Abstract

Ruthenium complexes with chiral bis(dihydro- oxazolylphenyl)oxalamide ligands catalyse the epoxidation of (E)-stilbene and (E)-1-phenylpropene with 69 and 58% ee, respectively, using NaIO4 as oxidant.
