Disproportionation of hydrazine by [Mo2(η-C5H5)2(µ-Cl)(µ-SMe)3] and formation of an Mo2(µ-NH2) amido bridge

Abstract

Cleavage of the N–N bond of hydrozine by the dimolybdenum centre in [Mo2(η-C5H5)2(µ-Cl)(µ-SMe)3] 1 gives rise to the amido-bridged complex [Mo2(η-C5H5)2(µ-NH2)-(µ-SMe)3] 2.
