The pre-reactive complex H2O⋯ClF identified in mixtures of water vapour and chlorine monofluoride by rotational spectroscopy

Abstract

A pre-reactive complex H2O⋯ClF of planar (C2v) or effectively planar (Cs) geometry is characterised for the first time in mixtures of water vapour and chlorine monofluoride through its rotational spectrum, as observed with a fast-mixing nozzle/Fourier-transform microwave spectrometer.
