Caged anions: perchlorate and perfluoroanion cryptates
Abstract
The structure of a perchlorate cryptate shows complete encapsulation of the anion within the crypt: in a mixed BF4–SiF62– cryptate the SiF62– anion is preferentially encapsulated.
