Dalton communications. The crystal structure of NaBa, an interpenetrating network of sodium tetrahedra and barium octahedra

Abstract

The crystal structure of NaBa has been determined from single-crystal X-ray diffraction data on X-ray capillary size samples cooled from 200 °C at a rate of 1 °C h–1[cubic, space group Fd[3 with combining macron]m, a= 17.027(3)Å, structurally related to CdNi1–xand NiTi2].
