The dinuclear complex [{trans-PtCl(NH3)2}2{µ-H2N(CH2)6NH2}]Cl2 forms a unique macrochelate intrastrand crosslink with d(GpG)

Abstract

Reaction of the dinuclear antitumour compound [{trans-PtCl(NH3)2}2{µ-H2N(CH2)6NH2}]Cl2 with d(GpG) results in the formation of the intrastrand macrochelate [{trans-Pt(NH3)2}2(µ-H2N(CH2)6NH2)](d(GpG–N7,N7).
