X-Ray crystal analysis and MO calculations have been carried out on the organic radical, 2-(4-nitrophenyl)-4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazol-1-oxyl 3-N-oxide, revealing a 2-D ferromagnetic network linked by Nδ+⋯ Oδ– Coulombic attraction.
