I.r. spectroscopic studies on polymer-bonded (η5-C5H5)W(CO)3H. A precursor for a reusable catalyst component for the olefin metathesis reaction

Abstract

I.r. spectroscopy on their polystyrene-bonded forms indicates that with complexes of the type (η5-C5H5)W(CO)3R (R = H, Cl) olefin metathesis proceeds with preservation of the structural unit (η-C5H5)W(CO)3.
