Determination of propetamphos and diazinon residues in sheep's wool

Abstract

A method for the determination of propetamphos and diazinon residues in sheep's wool is described. The residues are extracted using sonication with petroleum spirit as solvent. No clean-up steps are required. The residues are determined using a bench-top gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer. The use of an autosampler and automated data handling allows a fast throughput of samples.
