Translayer diffusion of excimer-forming amphiphiles in Langmuir–Blodgett films

Abstract

Transverse diffusion of the excimer-forming probe pyrenedecanoate anion in the mixed Langmuir–Blodgett film with calcium arachidate (icosanoate) was shown by the decrease in the relative intensity ratio of excimer to monomer fluorescence with time.
