Oxyetracycline biosynthesis: mode of incorporation of [1-13C,2H3] acetate

Abstract

Deuterium labelling of oxytetracycline derived biosynthetically from [1–13C,2H3] acetate has been shown to occur exclusively at carbons 7 and 9.
