Photochemically-induced 1,3-fluorine shifts. The synthesis of novel fluorinated spiro compounds

Abstract

The perfluorocyclobutene derivative (8) undergoes a photochemically-induced 1,3-fluorine shift followed by keletal rearrangement; the preparation of novel spiro compounds is described.
