Abstract

The new cluster Rh4(µ4-PPh)2(cod)4(cod = cyclo-octa-1,5-diene) has been prepared by the reaction of Li2PPh, with Rh2(µ-Cl)2(cod)2 or the reaction of Rh2(µ-PPh2)(µ-Cl)(cod)2 with Li[BHEt3] and has been spectroscopically and structurally characterized.
