The electrochemical evolution of O2 on NiCo2O4 in 18O-enriched KOH

Abstract

Measurements of the incorporation of 18O in an NiCo2O4 electrode show that during oxygen evolution in KOH solution an unstable surface oxide is formed with approximately one site per surface unit cell.
