Crown ether catalysed synthesis and cycloaddition reactions of arenediazocyanides

Abstract

Arenediazocyanides, prepared from arenediazonium tetrafluoroborates by a crown ether catalysed phase transfer reaction, undergo a variety of reactions including the Diels–Alder cycloaddition with numerous dienes.
