The induced homolysis of bromotriphenylmethane by a nitroxide

Abstract

The induced homolysis of bromotriphenylmethane by di-t-butyl nitroxide has been observed by monitoring the decline of the nitroxide spectrum and the appearance of triphenylmethyl radical spectrum in an e.s.r. spectrometer.
