Assay methods for use in stability studies of 2-amino-6-methyl-5-oxo-4-n-propyl-4,5-dihydro-[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine

Abstract

Two assay methods were developed for use in the study of the stability of the drug 2-amino-6-methyl-5-oxo-4-n-propyl-4,5-dihydro[1,2,4]triazolo-[1,5-a]pyrimidine. A difference in the results obtained by use of the two procedures was noted with solutions containing either lactose or 1,4-dioxan. The reasons for this difference have been investigated.
