Oxotrichlorotriphenylphosphidesulphidemolybdenum(V)[MoOCl3(SPPh3)], a mononuclear five-co-ordinate oxomolybdenum(V) complex

Abstract

[MoOCl3(SPPh3)] has been synthesised and shown by X-ray crystallography to exist as discrete five co-ordinate molecules which have a distorted square pyramidal geometry.
