Sulphamato-complexes of the platinum metals
Abstract
The new complexes K3[M(NH2SO3)Cl5](M = Rh, Ir, Ru, or Os) and K2[Pd(NH2SO3)2Cl2] have been characterised and their chemical reactions studied. Spectroscopic data suggest that sulphamate is nitrogen-bonded to the metal in these salts, in K2[Pt(NH2SO3)2X2] and in the imido-sulphonate Cs4[Pt(NHSO3)2Cl2].
