The use of luminescence spectroscopy to determine infrared and Raman inactive fundamentals: the τ2u vibrational frequencies of the Cr(CN)3–6 ion

Abstract

The 5K luminescence spectrum of Cr(CN)63– in K3Co(CN)6 has enabled the i.r. and Raman inactive τ2u Cr–C–N and C–Cr–C bending modes to be located.
