2- and 4-Monoformyldeuteroporphyrin IX

Abstract

Ring synthesised 2- and 4-acetyldeuteroporphyrin have been converted into the corresponding formyl derivatives and as a result the commonly accepted structural assignments for these formylporphyrins should be revised.
