Dinitrogen trioxide. Part X. The density of dinitrogen trioxide and its mixture with dinitrogen tetroxide and some organic solvents

Abstract

Reliable values for the density of liquid dinitrogen trioxide over the range 206–236 K have been obtained. The volumes of mixing of dinitrogen trioxide with dinitrogen tetroxide, methylene chloride, ethyl acetate, and toluene have been measured and the deviations from ideality are discussed.
